‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ star Heather Gay has revealed that she has been left absolutely astounded by her cast-mate Jennie Nguyen‘s prior social media posts.

Jennie, for her part, had been accused of perpetuating racially insensitive remarks when her social media posts surrounding the Black Lives Matter movement had resurfaced.
It is claimed that she had stated that the organisation was violent. While Jennie has gone on to apologise since then, coupled with the fact that she did remove those posts, the very fact of the matter is that she still has a long way to go before she is accepted back into people’s good books.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Heather did not hold back on the disappointment that she had experienced.
She said: “I am deeply shocked, saddened, and disappointed by the blatantly racist and derogatory statements reshared and liked by one of my fellow castmates.” Heather is not the only housewife to come out and speak against this.
Much in the same way, Jennifer Shah also questioned Jennie but took things a step further. She claimed that Jennie’s apology was not sincere and only done simply on the grounds that she was trying to save face.
Although it is true to say that Jennifer’s comments are going to be clouded by virtue of the fact that she is facing telemarketing fraud allegations, there is no denying that it still had an impact nonetheless.
In a statement at the time, Jennifer stated: “It was infuriating to see her like and repost comments that made a mockery of and showed complete apathy toward those killed marching to bring awareness to the deep-seeded social injustice issues that plague our country.”
The only thing that Jennie can do is learn from this, and put it behind her. That way, she will be better prepared to avoid a similar situation like this and ultimately not alienate the public as well as the housewives.
