Like the rest of us, you’re probably wondering why on earth on one of her more recent podcast episodes Brooke Schofield, Tana Mongeau’s usual co-host on Cancelled, was nowhere to be seen. Rather, Tana was accompanied by her friends Imari Stuart and Ashley Schwann.
Meanwhile, over on Twitter, Brooke is liking all kinds of mean tweets saying how bad of a friend that Tana is. Apparently, Brooke’s birthday passed, but did anyone out of Tana’s crowd give her a birthday shout-out? No, we didn’t hear one thing about a birthday from anyone in Tana’s camp.

Imari was even liking tweets that were shading Brooke and posted the video clip of him and Tana and Ashley from the podcast on his Twitter where they said “We’re the OGs” nowhere in the podcast did it ever mention a birthday.
When this happened Brooke took to TikTok and posted a video that said, “When I see my future daughter being gaslit and manipulated into apologizing to everyone who hurts her.” but then they went back to podcasting together like normal so we were a bit confused.
However, over on Ashly Schwann’s AMA, we got a little dose of the tea and she was in no mood to mince words. Apparently, she is not over the entire “Mindy” situation, where Brooke hooked up with a guy that Tana was seeing and says it rubbed her the wrong way and she wouldn’t want to be friends with someone who would do something like that.
When asked why she doesn’t follow Brooke on social media she says that she doesn’t follow people or things that upset her and she doesn’t want to say anything mean, so she usually just doesn’t follow people who upset her.
Okay, fair. Sometimes it’s good to cultivate one’s social media feed to where it doesn’t stress you out. In another interview, awhile back, Tana even talked of Brooke wanting to sue her, so one wonders instead of suing Tana, is that why she ended up co-hosting with her instead?
That would make sense, that way, Brooke still gets money, but Tana doesn’t have a lawsuit on her hands and sometimes things are worked out behind closed doors that the public never hears about, so perhaps this podcast deal is a strictly working relationship after all and Tana and Brooke don’t really speak to each other outside of working hours. Considering how Brooke seems to hate the partying lifestyle… it would make sense, but that’s just speculation. Stay tuned!!!
