‘Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City‘ star Mary Cosby has rejected allegations that she has taken advantage of her church-goers.

Faith is something that is very significant to Mary, given that she is a self-professed member of the Pentecostal Church. As part of that, she inherited a variety of churches from her family.
And yet, not everybody was convinced that Mary was holier than thou. During the course of an episode, the attention turned towards Mary, with claims being branded that she was similar to Jennifer Shah.
The latter is, after all, being accused of telemarketing fraud and set to go on trial next year. Naturally, this is hardly a comparison to be proud of, especially if someone claims to be a person of faith.
In response to the claims, Mary denied behaving in any unethical way. She said: “I’ve never ripped anyone off. I don’t need to. I was born in money.”
Although it is true to say that Mary did inherit the money, it was still not enough to stop the criticism. And one particular housewife had a lot to say on the matter: step forward, Jennifer.
The former was engaged in heavy dialogue with Lisa Barlow and raised significant concerns over how Mary was treating members of her church. So much so that she felt Mary was almost deified to the extent that it was very cultic in nature.
In response, Jennifer stated: “My own cousin, my first cousin, his best friend is f—king terrified. People are saying that she’s a f—king cult leader, that she has them on food stamps.”
Realising that this was only going to destroy her reputation, Mary sought to put this to bed once and for all. And she highlighted the importance that God plays in her life, as a way to convince everyone that she was sincere.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “I believe in God. I believe in rescue. I believe in deliverance. I believe in it all.”
