Jennifer Lawrence had nothing but good things to say about the cast of her new film, “Don’t Look Up” in which she plays the lead alongside Leonardo DiCaprio as part of an astronomer team that is trying to warn the world of an incoming comet.
This film is armed to the teeth with stars, Meryl Streep, Ron Perlman, Tyler Perry, and Cate Blanchett, but one, in particular, got Jennifer’s glowing review and that was Ariana Grande. Ariana actually played a pop star in the film, and Jennifer recounts the day with, “And that was like one of the coolest days of my life.

I took a picture with her, I looked like a radio contest winner.” she also went on to say that Ariana “couldn’t be nicer”. Awww! How sweet!
But it wasn’t all fun and slumber party games on the set, it seems that Jenn had to change her appearance for the role, and not just something as easy as hair color, nope she had to go the full nine yards and do fake facial piercings too.
Jenn said that one of the nose rings that she had to wear for the film was a magnet, but the other just sort of hung there. It was the magnet that gave her trouble and she said many times during scenes she would accidentally inhale the magnet and then have to spit it out in front of Leonardo DiCaprio… oof!
Poor Jenn. We girls have all been there, making a fool of ourselves in front of the most popular guy. Ouch.
The film will be released in theatres on December 10th, but going forward from December 24th onward it will be available to stream on Netflix. Netflix, you say?
This is a Netflix production? Apparently so! Quarantine has indeed changed the world so now it seems that some releases will indeed be available on streaming platforms after their initial theatre release.
