Youtuber Tekashi 69’s (Daniel Hernandez) Twitter Beefs With Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes & Ariana Grande Explained!

If you have your finger on the pulse of Rap culture, then you will know that most recently, Tekashi 69 (AKA Daniel Hernandez) got out of jail early due to COVID-19. Originally, he was just your regular, civilian rapper, had nothing to do with gang lifestyle but soon he became friends with the infamous gang the Bloods and their reputation is what gave him some major ‘street cred’ within the gangsta rap community. Due to some gang related activity, Tekashi 69 was sentenced to 35 years to life in prison but he made a move that lessened his sentence to just 2 years – he snitched.

He called out everybody and named some pretty big names, like Cardi B, and named them in relation to gang activity, even though some of them weren’t even directly involved. If there was tea, then Tekashi 69 spilled it, all over the place, everywhere he could, and there was not enough paper towels in the world to soak it all up. In the end, this is how he got his sentence reduced. It looks like everyone in the gangsta rap community is displeased with him, but especially Snoop Dogg. Snoopy Dogg, like the rest of the members of the gangsta rap community doesn’t look too kindly on snitches. They have had a twitter beef for awhile. It says something about Tekashi that Snoop Dogg would unfavorably compare him to Martha Stewart, who did not snitch for her entire stint in prison (when, according to rumors, she could have.) and Tekashi 69 snitched first thing. Even Busta Rhymes chimed in with his two cents about that. Yike!

Youtuber Tekashi 69 (AKA Daniel Hernandez) and his many twitter beefs

It’s not only gangsta rappers that he’s been in beefs with however, he even started a fight with Ariana Grande saying that for her new single that she did with Justin Beiber, she bought her way into the Billboard Top 100. He only called out Ariana Grande however, he never once mentioned Justin Beiber, so we don’t actually know why he targeted her and didn’t go after both at once. It’s been rumored that he did so for clout, but one cour argue that he if he really wanted clout then going after both of them at the same time would be the better deal because then he could in effect kill two birds with one stone, but hey, maybe that’s just not his style, or maybe he just didn’t think of it.

To his credit though, perhaps Tekashi was doing so out of self-preservation. If he had served the full sentence, then chances are, he probably would have been killed in prison. He does have two children, and he’s only 24 years old so maybe he just didn’t want his kids to grow up without a father. Although, as of this writing there is no word on what the status of Tekashi 69’s relationship status is with his children, or if he’s even involved in their lives. He did say previously that the crowd that he was with, allegedly tried to kidnap him, his Mom, assaulted him, and did all sorts of bad things to him so he felt he had a right to snitch on them because they had previously hurt him.

But now that he has been released to house arrest, he’s been doing some pretty stupid things for a guy that has a target on his back. Allegedly, he is in the witness protection program, but what use is that when the guy keeps posting on social media about where he is? Recently, he was spotted by a fan at his new digs, posting on social media and she posted it on TikTok, the video of Tekashi went viral and they had to move his location a third time, because that’s right folks, he’s had to move twice because of his own stupidity. He was also bragging via social media about snitching and released a song called “Gooba” taunting various members of his former friend group. Gooba actually got, according to youtube stats, 202 million views in its first week of being released, but the rumor going around is that he bought those views, which, allegedly he is a multi-millionaire due to his  music career so he could very well do that but most often, bought views don’t have the same effect that genuine views do.

Tekashi seems to have a lot of loyal fans backing him up, but by snitching, he made a lot of enemies. While some fans are genuinely there to watch him rise again, there are other people there who are watching just to see if the old adage about prison snitches is true. Since he seems to be flaunting his early release time, it makes one worry about that because sometimes hubris is one’s own deadly enemy, and he seems to have an abundance of that. For his fan’s and family’s sake, we’re hoping that the old prison adage ‘snitches get stitches’ isn’t taken a bit further to prove that ‘snitches wind up in ditches’ because it certainly seems like that’s where these various beefs could be headed… again, we’re hoping not and that some member of law enforcement can get through to him and make him understand that maybe, just maybe, flaunting his newfound ‘freedom’ (which is actually house arrest)isn’t such a good idea.
