Eboni K. Williams has opened up on how she and Ramona Singer are very similar in terms of their personalities.

The stars of The Real Housewives of New York City have struck up a mutual understanding, which has been impressive given that Eboni is a new member of the show. As they are both outspoken and fully aware of what they want from their lives, it is understandable why they gravitated towards each other. In an interview with Us Weekly, Eboni said: “Ramona started to see a lot of herself in me and me in her.
“[We]…take no-nonsense, [and are] very proud of the fact that we are self-made.” And yet, it was not all plain sailing. The duo infamously got into a heated argument over Ramona’s alleged unfair treatment of Eboni’s staff. It was Ramona’s failure to address Eboni’s workforce by their names that made Eboni feel disgruntled.
Although it was not intentional, it did lead the duo to have a heart to heart over how they should interact with others. But through it all, they have come out the other side. Eboni added: “Ramona literally asks and remembers the server’s names now. It might seem small to some people, but I think that’s a big, important step.” With that argument fully behind them, the pair have continued to become closer.
They share a common love for food and beverages, which has been seen through their interactions on the show. Just as Eboni has a liking for Ramona, the same can be said vice versa. Ramona has spoken on how their friendship is very direct, and that has aided them in getting over significant hurdles.
Even though Eboni has alienated some of the other members of the show with her no-nonsense approach, Romano has no problem with it. In a prior interview, she remarked: “She got tough with me, tough with [Luann de Lesseps], but that’s OK. I can take your tough—[I understand].” It is great to see the duo putting their troubles behind them.
