‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey‘ spoilers find that star Teresa Giudice might have walked away broken hearted after she finalized her divorce from her ex-husband Joe Giudice, but she didn’t walk away empty handed.
In fact, the reality television star said that she got to keep her house after their divorce while Joe walked away with nothing. Here’s what she has to say.
During Wednesday night’s episode of RHONJ, Teresa said that her ex-husband did not receive a penny in their divorce settlement.

Teresa has spent the last several years raising their four children at home in New Jersey after Joe got deported to his native Italy. He is now living in The Bahamas to be closer to his family.
“In our divorce settlement, I get the house and Joe walked away with nothing because I paid off all his debt,” Teresa said in a confessional. “And I’ve been taking care of our daughters for five years now all on my own.”
During the episode, Teresa FaceTimes Joe while she was cooking dinner for her daughters. She told him that she wanted to put their house up for sale, in which he answered that she could do whatever she wanted because it was her house.
Late last year, Teresa said that she felt “happy” for Joe as the two of them have finally carved out new lives for themselves.
One tipster told Hollywood Life, “Teresa is really happy for Joe that he’s moving on with his life. There’s no bad blood between them and she wants him to be able to live a happy life.”
Despite living thousands of miles apart, Teresa and Joe still talk regularly and do their best to co-parent their daughters, even though Joe is technically not in the picture anymore.
