Youtube Censors Jeffree Star Over Nudity In Blood Money Palette Reveal!

Remember how Jeffree Star just dropped the Blood Money palette and did a whole video detailing the collection? Well, youtube has some objections to that video because it got flagged and Jeffree is hopping mad.

He submitted it to the youtube team for review and the youtube team stood by their original verdict saying that because the shot of Jeffree and his team in the hot tub had the suggestion of nudity (even though they were literally fully clothed) in it that the video would stay flagged. This was done by a human reviewer, not the youtube automated system so this begs the question:

Who’s grandma did youtube hire to review these youtube videos?

I get it, someone like Jeffree Star could be considered outrageous and could be considered pushing the envelope but at the same time, this was the same type of tjing that you see in mainstream music videos and it is advertising a makeup palette.

Technically in the video they are not doing anything. The only thing I could see in the promo picture that could be somewhat problematic is that the pasties that were used formed extremely pointy ends on some of the girls’ breasts in the photo, but nothing was actually seen. In fact it looked more like they had glued press-on nails to the girls’ nipples, to be honest.

Still, we see worse than this in a Cardi B music video, so what gives, youtube?

This doesn’t really make me a Jeffree Star, rather it makes me wonder what on earth is considered clean by youtube standards.

Are they trying to make this a platform exclusively for children, because plenty of content creators on youtube do not make exclusively kid friendly content anymore, a lot of the ‘big’ youtubers have graduated from the slime-making days into other venues, so if youtube is trying to make this an exclusively child-friendly platform then they need to calm down and get back to their roots, letting people upload what they please and relaxing on the censorship. We need spaces like youtube, tiktok is great but you can only do so much in a 60 second video.

Get real youtube, it’s a photoshoot about a makeup palette, literally everyone who’s old enough to have enough money to buy this palette ($52) is old enough to have seen whatever is in this Jeffree Star photoshoot. We’ll see if the flag gets removed soon. Stay tuned!!!
