The eight couples that were left on Monday were excited to head to Vegas to see what was next for them. They took a tour bus for a long four-hour drive from Los Angeles. The couples on the bus were Ryan Neal and Natascha Bessez, Chris Watson and Bri Strauss, and Trevor Holmes and Jamie Gabrielle. Matt Ranaudo and Rudi wanted to take a special detour and viewers were surprised when they spent the night on the road and not in a great hotel.

No one would have expected that Matt was going to show Rudi his doubts about their new relationship. “I’m still trying to figure this whole thing out. I don’t know if I’m there, there yet, but I know that I like her…baby steps.” We were happy to see Bri and Chris go on their first date in Vegas. They sang together from the soundtrack to A Little White Chapel. Jamie and Trevor went ice skating and really started to show their feelings more. This is when they both admitted that they are falling in love with one another.
Even though Matt is having some reservations about Rudi, they still went on a date and they had fun at a Shaggy concert. Ryan and Natascha took things in a different direction and went to the junkyard and crushed things. The dates went pretty well, but Matt still was having some problems with his heart. “As much as I do like her, I want to make sure we’re doing the right thing and that we’re not rushing into this whole thing.” Rudi had some words of her own to share with Matt, “I know we’re musically so compatible, but for me, it’s like ‘what’s the f****g point if you’re not there’? Just ’cause we sing well together? Yes, I wanted that, but I also wanted to find love.”
Matt and Rudi may have had some serious relationship troubles, but they were praised for their performance. They sang Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow.” Matt said, “I want to keep playing music with her forever, so I’m excited to move forward with her.” Ryan and Natascha’s song was a little rocky and it did get them sent home.
