‘American Horror Story’ star Emma Roberts is being accused of being transphobic on the set to co-star Angelica Ross. Of course, 5 years ago, Ross just now felt like it was time to finally let this out and tell everyone what a transphobe Roberts was. Not then, or when it happened.
On social media, Ross made the allegation, claiming that while they were filming ‘American Horror Story: 1984’ in 2018, Emma misgendered them along with John Carroll Lynch, another co-star, who told the ‘ladies’ to play nice between takes. This came after Emma playfully teased that Ross was being mean.
The following is what Angelica alleges Emma said immediately after that. Do you not mean ‘lady’? She apparently covered half of her face before walking away, leaving Angelica speechless.
‘American Horror Story’ Angelica Ross Claims Star Emma Roberts Was ‘Transphobic’ To Them FIVE Years Ago
When the cameras stopped running, Angelica claims she never spoke to Emma again. However, when asked why she didn’t report it, Ross says she was afraid of being reprimanded because another employee on the set had spoken out.
Ross also alleges that Emma was a terror around the set, making everyone else crazy and throwing around her weight as a popular actress in an ‘insufferable’ way.
Of course, it’s strange that these allegations took five years to come out, and what kind of memory of the situation can be had by now? If it was so upsetting, this should have been brought up then.
No more excuses of “I was afraid”. If someone is doing something wrong, or something you don’t like, don’t wait for five years, when everyone’s forgotten about it to bring it up and try to stay relevant.
As of now, Roberts has not responded to the claims, and it’s doubtful that she will to be honest. I don’t see any reason for engaging in this argument 5 years later.
