Amber Heard has dropped some major news by confirming the arrival of her first child via a surrogate.
Amber Heard Welcomes Her First Child
The actress, who has recently been involved in a major defamation case against her ex-husband Johnny Depp, has likely drawn some of that negative attention away from her with this news. While it is her first child, Amber does have some experience in being a parent.
She was a stepmother to two of Johnny’s kids: Lily-Rose and Jack. Now she feels ready to make this move on her own. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Amber shared a picture of herself and her daughter asleep as they hold each other.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “I’m so excited to share this news with you. Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it on my own terms. “ Amber’s personal life may be improving slowly too. She has reportedly been dating Bianca Butti since the beginning of last year.
Their relationship continues to go strong, as Bianca has managed to support her during Amber’s stressful legal case. This has also been helped by the fact that Amber was able to feel more comfortable in coming out when she made the decision to do so.
A source told Us Weekly how Bianca has managed to make Amber grow and develop: “Bianca has been very supportive of her, and Amber feels like she can trust her and be comfortable around her, especially since they were friends first. “Amber is fine and happier than ever. She really loves her.”
That has allowed Amber to finally settle down and start a family. It is not clear whether this will be the first child of many. Regardless, it shows that Amber is ready to defy the critics and live her life according to her own choosing.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “I now appreciate how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destinies in this way…She’s the beginning of the rest of my life.” Time will tell how Amber will be able to cope with motherhood.
