Andrew Gilman, who happens to be a Public Relations and Crisis Management expert, has called for Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Baldwin to stop posting images of their family on social media.
Crisis Management Expert Advises The Baldwins To Stop Posting Family Photos On Social Media
Alec has been through a lot of late and could be forgiven for wanting to be happy. And yet, his gun prop incident, which took the life of Halyna Hutchins, has left a dark cloud hanging over him.
One way in which Alec has attempted to deal with that is by spending time with his family. And in one such instance, he was pictured alongside his wife and kids wearing their Halloween costumes.
This post garnered a lot of criticism. People felt that while there was nothing wrong with what Alec was doing, sharing it at a time when Halyna’s family was clearly in mourning was a bad move.
That is why Andrew has called on the couple to be more prudent over their social media activity. In an interview with Fox News, he said: “Hilaria may think it’s hilarious to post Halloween photos.
“She would be better off to wait another year to post photos of the Baldwin family having fun.” The primary reason why Andrew feels this way is because Alec is known for being a controversial figure.
He was reportedly arrested in 1995 after having punched a cameraman. Not only that, but his wife Hilaria was also involved in a scandal that questioned whether her Spanish heritage was genuine.
As such, Andrew feels that Alec should remain quiet until the authorities have brought forward more evidence. He added: “If I was advising him, after the initial statements of emotional support, care and concern, he should lay low for a while.
“He should continue with these sentiments until there is a finding from investigators.” In defence of Alec, it is clear that he is not in the right frame of mind.
And in any event, if he were to stay silent, others may still criticise him for not showing any outward remorse. On current reflection, it certainly is a difficult time for the Baldwin family.
