British TV presenter Lorraine Kelly has questioned Alec Baldwin’s decision to share some pictures of his family celebrating Halloween in light of his prop gun incident on the set of ‘Rust’.

Alec was tragically involved in a mishap where he was under the impression that the prop gun was unloaded. And yet, it was anything but that.
Therefore, the gun that he had actually fired ended up killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza.
Given that this news is still fresh in the memory of the deceased’s family, the following pictures may not have been the best PR move by the Baldwin family.
In the pictures here, we can see that Alec is dressed up with his wife Hilaria Baldwin alongside their children in Halloween costumes. They all have smiles on their faces and could not be any happier.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “Parenting through this has been an intense experience. Today, we rallied to give them a holiday.
“Last min costumes… a little hodge-podge… but they were so happy, and that warmed my mama’s heart.” Nevertheless, Lorraine was not impressed for the following reasons.
First of all, it would inadvertently have the impact of disrespecting the family of the deceased. With Halyna no longer here, it does have the accidental impression of rubbing salt into the wounds.
Secondly, it would have been easier to keep these pictures private in order to avoid criticism on social media. In response, Lorraine said: “I think it was Hilaria [who posted it]…for Halloween with Alec Baldwin in the background there.
“It seemed like quite a strange one to do…It’s horrendous, absolutely horrendous, just so terribly sad.” The reaction on social media was much the same.
People felt that there was nothing wrong with having a Halloween celebration, given that Alec has also been through a lot with this experience. However, it was not appropriate to share it with everyone.
The following comments on Twitter confirmed as much: “Alec Baldwin, did your wife actually post Halloween photos on Instagram!! So inappropriate and so not a good look!”
