Alec Baldwin may have been enjoying some food with his brother Billy Baldwin, but there were bigger issues to deal with at home.
Alec Baldwin Enjoys A Barbacue While His Son Is Taken To Hospital
In a post on Alec’s Instagram, we can see a picture of the two standing side by side. The post was captioned by the following comments: “Brunch in Malibu with B Squared.” The actor, who is married to Hilaria Baldwin, was enjoying some quiet time away from his children when he got the news that his son Eduardo had been taken to hospital.
The latter had suffered from an unexpected allergic reaction, which required immediate medical attention. Things were made much worse, given Alec’s work commitments and this social media post, with fans wondering why he did not rush home to tend towards his son. That meant that Hilaria had to take on the full responsibility to make sure that her son was ok.
She already had a lot to contend with, given the media furore that continues to emerge over her Spanish heritage. And at one point, she became very worried. In a post to her fans on Instagram, she said: “Edu had an allergic reaction. I don’t know to what yet, but it was one of those horrible moments a parent dreads. My kids don’t have allergies
“[But]…there are always moments that shake us, as there is no way we can prepare.” Luckily for Alec, Billy and Hilaria were in constant communication with him to make sure he was aware of what was happening. While that is no substitute for actually being there, it was the best that the family could do in light of the circumstances.
Nevertheless, Hilaria was able to rely on the support of others around her to make sure she pulled through. She added: “My friend sent a pic to Alec (who is away working) to let him know it was going to be ok. I’m grateful to you… I won’t mention your names here, but you know who you are.” It is great to see the wider family stepping up in Alec’s absence.
It will, perhaps, serve as a reminder for Alec to make sure that he is not too far away from home in case something like this were to happen again.
