Joey Kramer, drummer for the hit band Aerosmith, has tragically seen his wife Linda Kramer pass away aged 55.

The duo had been married since 2009, and Lindsay had just wished her husband a happy 72nd birthday one day prior to her death. With that being said, the last thing that Joey expected to see was his wife pass away a day later. And now that this has happened, he has been left shocked to say the least.
An official statement given through an obituary had stated the following: “Linda loved Joey deeply and his well-being and happiness were her top priority. [She] loved her family and especially her nieces and nephews.”
The cause of death has not been made official, but in any event, the band has been through a lot recently. The band’s other member, Steven Tyler, had been in rehab for over 30 days following a relapse. As a result, the band had to cancel its ‘Las Vegas Residency’ shows.
Although Steven has now managed to get himself out of rehab, the very fact of the matter is that the future of the band going forward is in an uncertain place. After all, will the band be able to go forward with their prior plans?
Following Steven’s admission into rehab, they had said: “We will continue our 2022 dates starting in September, and we’ll let you know any further updates as soon as we can.” The fans on social media were devastated by the news.
A significant proportion of people hoped that Joey could bounce back from this and sent their warm words in response. One person wrote: “So sad. So many sudden deaths lately. Thoughts and prayers with the family.”
