Peter’s parents both posted this week on their Instagram accounts to show their excitement over their son’s new relationship. His father, Peter, posted on Instagram and it was a picture of Kelley and Peter. He captioned it, “Happiness is finding your copilot.” His mother, Barb, decided that she would post a big photo collage of the two of them together and looking forever in love.

Kelley and Peter met during the Bachelor when Peter was looking for a love. Kelley was not picked, in fact, she was eliminated in the seventh week of the show. Peter did end up picking and getting engaged to Hannah Ann Sluss. The two of them broke up in March. Just a few weeks later, Peter was spotted with Kelley in Chicago at the beginning of the quarantine. That is when Peter told Nick Viall, “We’re not dating. Could I see that in the future? I’m always transparent, yeah, of course. I’d be extremely lucky and very happy if that happened.”
Peter’s parents have told fans that they have never been happier for their son. They really like Kelley and even though they haven’t spent much time with her, they see that their son is incredibly happy with her. Just a few hours ago, Peter and Kelley made their relationship official on Instagram. Peter posted a picture of the two of them in his plane and they are hugging and kissing. He wrote, “You caught me. Let the adventure begin.” Fans were so happy to see this on his page and over 20,000 comments appeared in the first hour of it being posted! That’s got to be a record! We are so happy for Kelley and Peter and really hope that they are enjoying their time in quarantine together and they are being safe and healthy.
