ABC ‘The Bachelor’ spoilers finds that you may remember Ben Higgins. He fell for Kaitlyn Bristowe on her season. Unfortunately, they did not work out, but Ben is now engaged to Jessica Clarke. These two have been dating for a few years now and are making plans for their wedding. Ben took time to be on Nick Viall’s podcast, the Viall Files and talked a lot more about their relationship, romance, and being a reality television star.

Ben met Jessica when he saw her on Instagram and decided to message her. He said, “Because of a reason I still can’t explain (other than the fact she’s obviously beautiful) I felt I needed to message her.” When Ben and Jessica got engaged, Ben decided to do it with all of her family around. As we all know COVID-19 is putting quite the damper on a lot of things right now and visiting family and friends is one of them. Ben and Jessica got engaged at the end of March, just as this was all starting.

ABC ‘The Bachelor’ Spoilers: Ben Higgins and Fiance Don’t Share Everything
Ben told Nick,”I went back to a pond behind her house, and we had set it up with sunflowers near a bench. It’s right in their backyard, but a little hidden. I proposed and her family and mine were watching from a distance, and then we all celebrated together.” Jessica was so happy when he proposed too. “Central Park would have been magical and special in its own way. But it’s really cool that we just got to be together last night and not really have to talk to anyone else but my family. It was great. It was perfect. I couldn’t imagine it a better way.”
Jessica and Ben have been dating long distance for awhile and they have been isolating a bit during all of this coronavirus madness. They did tell fans that they sleep in different bedrooms and are waiting until they’re married to be in the same bed. “Right now she has a bedroom upstairs at her parents’ house, I’m in the downstairs.” He also told Nick that they are waiting to have sex until they are married.
The couple tries to not hide things, but Ben said sadness is something they don’t like to talk about. “We’ve never communicated our sadness. Not in terms of life, not in terms of variables outside of our relationship, but when we leave each other, or when we’re missing each other, we have chosen not to communicate that unless it’s in a healthy, uplifting way. The only thing, it’s helped us a ton because our communication is typically positive and uplifting.” We are so happy for these two and hope that they can have their dream wedding as soon as the COVID-19 pandemic slows down.
