ABC ‘The Bachelor’ spoilers finds that the pandemic is taking its toll on pretty much all of us. One of the former Bachelor cast members is having the same feelings, but he just proposed to his girlfriend, so things are looking up for them during this time. Ben Higgins had some big things up his sleeve for his proposal, but because of the stay at home order, he could only do so much. So, he did what any man in love would do, came up with a game plan an followed it through. We the inside scoop on how she handled it.
ABC ‘The Bachelor’ Spoilers: Ben Pops The Big Question
It is hard to do the normal things we do these days, so most of us are making adjustments in our daily lives. Ben Higgins is one. He wanted to propose to his girlfriend, Jessica Clarke, but he had to be sneaky about it. “I spoke to her father in December and since then, I was like, ‘OK, I want to make this a surprise so I’m gonna not talk about any future pieces of our relationship for as long as it takes until I propose so that she can be a little shocker.’ She was really confused at any time we talked about our future, I would change the subject. I would say there’s, like, a confidence and peace now with our relationship that did not exist five days before.”
ABC ‘The Bachelor’ Spoilers: Ben Higgins and Isolation
Ben popped the question on March 28 and Jessica said, “Yes!” These two started dating in 2018 when he messaged her on Instagram. “I had these big plans for New York City and we had planned some incredible things. The dancers from the Bachelor-Live On Stage had planned a dance routine, we had picked the perfect place, our families were gonna fly out and meet us. Well, that all changed, and it actually has been awesome because right now we’re in the same house, we’ve been here for weeks with her family, her brothers and her sister-in-law. So, we just did it at the pond behind the house and it was still nice. It wasn’t as glamorous, but it was so much more special, I think.” Jessica also said that the moment was very romantic and it made her feel so happy to be with Ben and her family!
She said, “Even today, I was going on a walk around the neighborhood and I walked out my driveway and Ben took my hand. He walked me to the place where he proposed and that’s something really cool because my heart still got the same butterflies it did the first time he walked me there a couple of days ago. So we’ll always have that and you can’t just go to New York every day.” What a sweet story! We are so happy for these two and hope they are fully enjoying their time together.
