‘General Hospital (GH)’ spoilers reveal Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) recently arrived in Port Charles. She’s the girlfriend of Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), and they met at school. Well, allegedly. We’re personally questioning everything she and Spencer say at this point. Anyway, there are a few theories going around about her, so let’s take a look at them and what we think is the most likely.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Daughter of a monster?
One of the theories is she’s Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) daughter. We actually were thinking that as well after she and Spencer visited Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). She knew about locked-in syndrome, for one. Even though she lied to Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) and said she’d never heard of it before. One’s daughter would likely know what’s ailing him, and keeping the connection quiet would be a good reason to lie to Harmony.
Then there was Ryan’s reaction when she talked about volunteering there. General Hospital spoilers indicate Ryan’s communication was translated by Harmony as, “Go, go, go.” He looked genuinely unhappy with the idea, something a father trying to protect his daughter would do. However, there’s another theory out there.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Switched/twins?
The other theory claims Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) had a twin or the real Kiki was switched with the woman viewers got to know as Kiki. We feel there’s problems with this. If she really is a schoolmate of Spencer’s, she’d be too young for either. But, if she was just someone who met Spencer another way, that could maybe be a possibility. And we see evidence they’re going for this one.
In a recent episode, Esme made a slip and used a different name when referring to Kiki. So, we do believe there was a switch at some point. It would make her hostility toward Ava Jerome (Maura West) make sense, because it definitely goes beyond Spencer hating her. And we do think that, despite this being the likely one, she’s still working with Ryan. Because that would explain Ryan’s letter and how he knows of what Spencer was up to.
And the letter definitely implied that. Plus, it would also explain Ryan’s reaction to her visit. The last thing he’d want is for the facility to find out he’s in on this with her. After all, it would take away his “locked in, harmless” defense away. Plus, if they knew he was able to coordinate the kind of stuff he might be with someone on the outside, they’d stick him back in Pentonville where he belongs.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Danger ahead
Either way, this girl is trouble, as Harmony said. General Hospital spoilers prove she’s a master of manipulation and she’s got very little conscience. She’s also willing to go so far as to burn a car to give her man an alibi. We see Spencer continuing to get worse under her influence, and we also think that fire was just the beginning. Expect much worse to come with her around, and we’re sure Ryan will be loving every minute of it.
