ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers for the week of August 29 reveal the Quartermaine picnic will end on a really bad note. There’s an attacker on the loose, and everyone looks to be a suspect. Let’s take a look at the new promo.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Left for dead
First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal the last time we saw Ava Jerome (Maura West), she’d been attacked from behind. With a weapon that was very I Know What You Did Last Summer. While we don’t know for sure who did it, there are a lot of guesses online. And one of those happens to be Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). We’re going to agree with eliminating a few potential suspects right now—like Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), for one. But Mac Scorpio (John J. York) won’t be so forgiving.

So, given the spoilers for Monday, August 29, we can be pretty sure Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will discover a wounded Ava to kick the week off. And if that promo in any indication, she’s going to be pretty traumatized by what she saw. However, someone else is going to be all business.
Mac is going to take charge to make some sense of the chaos. He’ll make it clear that everyone’s whereabouts and contacts need to be accounted for. So, it shouldn’t take long to weed through some of the potential suspects. There’s one person, however, who we think is innocent but he won’t be doing himself any favors.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Why so silent?
That, of course, would be Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). In the promo, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) wants to know why he’s so resistant to providing answers. While, again, we don’t think he did it, he’s got plenty of reason to clam up. After all, he and Ava had a big fight earlier after Spencer overheard her talking about Nikolas sleeping with Esme. Sounds like a solid motive to us. But we’re sure he might also be reluctant to talk for another reason.
He and Ava have been hiding the fall Esme took at Wyndemere, assuming she’s dead. Which we still don’t understand, given Nikolas’ own survival of that same fall. But that’s an issue for another time, we guess. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Nikolas has been acting a bit cowardly, so it makes sense he wouldn’t want to answer too many questions from the police. The more questions, the more likely the fall Esme took could come out. And then they’d be dealing with a possible death investigation, as well as a cover-up.
