ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate the Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) thing just went from bad to worse. Okay, it’s really more of a mixed bag situation. On the one hand, Nelle ran off with Wiley, harming Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) in the process. She also drugged Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) and caused Julian Jerome (William deVry) complication as well.
After all, he’s part of that mess while also connected to the Quartermaine family. However, the good news is, Wiley wasn’t gone more than an episode and he’s now safe at home with his family. But hold up. Because there’s more bad here. Let’s break it down, and where it might go.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Legal mess ahead?
So, General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) made one of her worst decisions ever last week. She decided to chase down Nelle after Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) tracked and confronted Nelle with Brook Lynn’s help. It sounded good on the surface. If Nelle is free, there’s always a risk he’ll disappear again.
However, this is Nelle. She just never seems to stay down for long. We wouldn’t be surprised if she survived (or even somehow staged that fall). And who’ll get the blame for attacking her? Carly. Not a situation Michael likely wants to deal with. We think there’s a big mess coming. And it might just coincide with something else.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Meanwhile
Elswhere, we have Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). A part of her felt guilty about testifying against Nelle, but also realized that Nelle hadn’t changed as much as she hoped. The fact she seems to care so much has us wondering if this is yet another hint Nelle might be hers.
Nelle does have that necklace. Sure, it could have been Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) and Nelle got it from Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). Fans have been very clear about that, as there are quite a few people out there who don’t want to see that.
However, there’s another theory. Other fans believe that Nina had twins and both are currently on the show. That might explain Nelle having the necklace, as well as Willow seeming to notice Nina’s necklace at one point. There could be two. And we do feel that Nelle has a more personal connection to it.
Otherwise, we doubt she’d be wearing it as much as she does and almost using it as a good luck charm. Let’s not kid ourselves. It’s not like she had some deep, true love for Shiloh, which is the only other explanation (to us) for this behavior. A recent development with Carly makes us wonder if we’re about to be proven right and this story will collide with Carly’s.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The connection
There are two connections here. First, Nina has been motherly toward both women. Especially recently. And there was no scam involved, like when Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) tricked her into thinking Sasha’s her daughter. Given she had a very antagonistic relationship with both, we think this is a clue. So, what’s the other?
General Hospital spoilers reveal Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) took charge of Nina’s problem recently. As in, he took the necklace Nina carries to a jeweler. There’s a big hint coming thanks to that, so he’ll be mostly responsible there.
At the same time, he also got involved in the situation with Nelle and Wiley. He was the one who found Carly after Nelle’s fall. He’s also been very clear in advising Carly to cover up the situation, as no one will believe it wasn’t intentional. Him being involved in both feels like another bit of foreshadowing.
We think if Nelle does show up alive and this all comes out, there will be trouble for Jax. And let’s not pretend Nelle’s dead. We won’t buy it until someone finds a body. And there’s multiple DNA tests done. Characters like her just don’t go out that easy.
Imagine how Nina will react if she thinks she lost a daughter, then finds out Jax was somewhat involved. It’d be almost worse than what Valentin did, because she really thinks he’s a better guy and any betrayal—perceived or real—will be harder to take from him.
