The legal drama surrounding her relationship with Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) is only getting started. This week, it promises to get ugly as Neil takes action. ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: (Not) In The Clear
This whole mess really kicked into high gear recently, when Julian Jerome (William deVry) lost it over Alexis falling off the wagon. His over-the-top reaction led to Alexis getting an e-mail from the New York Bar. They know she lied under oath, and they want to talk to her about it. We’ll see more of this to start another week.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Coming Clean
It looks like she won’t see any point in avoiding the inevitable. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Alexis admits she lied in the hearing on May 4th. The clip shows her on the phone, so we’re not sure who she’s admitting this too. We do know it can’t be Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) or Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). They recently all talked about this very thing after Diane tricked Alexis into a conversation with her daughter.
We expect that Alexis will likely not fight this too hard. Her drinking was mostly inspired by Sam calling her a coward recently. She thought Alexis is too worried about the rules, and not putting enough attention into fighting for what she believes in. We sort of disagreed with her. In our opinion, lying about the relationship and doing her time away from Neil was her fighting for just that. She believes he’s a great therapist and their sort-of relationship shouldn’t end his career. We assume we’ll see more of how she’ll handle it later in the week.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: What He Deserves
Related to Alexis’ situation, we’ll see a little payback happen Monday. We mentioned that Julian is the catalyst for the continued drama over the ethics of the Neil/Alexis pairing. It seems Neil hasn’t forgotten who caused the scene at GH that dragged this back out into the open. On May 4th, Neil confronts Julian. Expect things to get heated, because it looked like Neil gets physical with Julian. We believe his behavior is more about Alexis than him, though. He doesn’t seem to care as much about his own professional career, as he was ready to give it all up to explore the relationship with Alexis.
Personally, we think Julian will deserve it. We were on his side during the baby swap, because of Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) withholding important details. This one? We just can’t. Julian airing Alexis’ private business right in the middle of GH was unacceptable.
