ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate John J York (Mac) opened up about his real love life. He shared his love story about his wife, Vicki.
York talks about how the two of them met. He was auditioning for a movie role. This was 35 years ago, and he saw his now-wife, Vicki at the audition.

York discussed how he is just as in love with his wife as if it was their first meeting. He said that Vicki is so beautiful and sexy he is so happy that they are still together.
John feels that he may be the luckiest man on Earth that Vicki agreed to marry him. When Vicki and John met, he was completely taken with her at the first moment of meeting her. They were both auditioning for the film, “Chattanooga Choo-Choo.”
York still remembers what she was wearing that day. He knows that she was wearing a yellow sweater and a white skirt that was below her knees. She also had on some white stockings, white high heeled shoes, and her hair was done in the 80’s style, curly and fluffy.
York said the audition was in September and he had gotten to California that January. He said that they hit it off immediately and they talked about how he had just moved to town.
He discussed how Vicki was very special and there was something about her and he saw something special with her.
York was called back to audition again and he was happy because he would see Vicki again. He was so nervous to actually ask her out. He was a struggling actor and did not even have a car.
York, did, however, get the role of Mickey and Vicki made the move first. She got his number from York’s agent and she called him up. She let him know that he got the part and then she said that they should go out and celebrate.
He got to use his agent’s car to take Vicki out on a date. That’s how it first started. In 1986, the two were married and have not looked back since. They welcomed their daughter, Schyler a few weeks after York’s first day at GH.
Vicki and John have a great life together and they are enjoying every minute of it. Now with children and grandchildren included. They travel a lot and they love life.
