ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers finds that if there’s one thing that we’ve learned about ‘General Hospital’ star Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) over the years, it’s that she’s someone who definitely likes to remain positive, no matter what situation she’s in. Even though the world is dealing with a coronavirus outbreak, forcing a lot of people to stay home, Laura and her boyfriend and co-star Wes Ramsey (Peter August) are trying to make the best of it. Since ‘General Hospital’ has decided to suspend production because of the coronavirus pandemic, the couple went out on a walk near their home and shared a photo on Instagram. Unfortunately, not everyone thought it was appropriate. Here’s what you need to know.

While a lot of their social media fans usually love seeing photos of them together, this time around they weren’t too pleased. That’s because some people thought it was tone-deaf of them to boast about their time off from ‘General Hospital’ when for some fans, they are on the verge of losing their jobs or missing their mortgage payments.
Some of the comments they received included, “Maybe you ought to cut back on your months off pics as those that are out of work can’t meet mortgages or car payments,” along with, “Ah looks beautiful. I had a slight breakdown when I read that ‘General Hospital’ was temporarily stopping production. It seems like a lot of us are going to lose our jobs as well.”
Apparently, Laura herself does read some of the comments she receives from her fans and replied to them with, “I’m not celebrating. We are making the best of a stressful situation—- I have close friends and family struggling. We are not unaware – just happy to hike.”
