Wiley’s medical crisis is just one more reason for these two to be at odds. As usual, despite advice from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), Carly has gotten involved. But did she possibly make a big mistake? Here’s what you need to know.

The situation with Wiley is pretty serious, even though it’s still an elective procedure. They’re talking about his quality of life later, and especially in light of the fact his condition didn’t start to heal itself over time. He’s already experiencing breathing trouble because of his condition, so we can see why Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) pushed hard for the surgery. Unfortunately, he’s facing resistance from Nelle. At first, we thought she was fully being selfish and objecting because Quartermaines want it. But the Friday episode showed there might be an underlying issue here.
She used her own experiences as a child to argue the case for not going for surgery. According to Nelle, she’s in constant pain because of her own procedure. She also cited the meds she needs to take. We still wondered if there was a manipulative element here until we saw her look genuinely upset after Michael wasn’t able to see her. So, it’s possibly there’s at least a little genuine concern on her part. But she’s still being stubborn. Enter the reinforcements.

So, with all this going on, it’s not surprising Michael wants help. We’re just confused who he accepted it from. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Carly was the one who offered to deal with Nelle while he dealt with what he needed to. This was a bad move. We can’t even with how many levels that was a mistake.
Let’s just throw a couple off the top of our head. If Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) couldn’t change her mind, why would he think Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) can? It’s very possible this would make her dig her heels in more. That’s not a good thing when you’re trying to get someone on your side. And let’s not forget Carly doesn’t always use the best methods. While she seemed to start off okay, she later did something that might just mess things up for the custody case.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Backfire?
After the long talk, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate Nelle was still not on board. But Carly won’t be denied. She actually locked Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) on the roof with the consent form. And we’re guessing she doesn’t plan to let Nelle leave until that signature’s secured. This is such a horrible idea. Nelle can use this against the family in court, saying they intimidate her into doing what they want. Nelle can also likely withdraw her consent once she’s out. We can’t imagine she can’t get an emergency order, citing she was coerced into signing that against her better judgement. Stay tuned, because things could get ugly.
