First, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal you gotta give it to Esme—she’s not one to give up easily. After talking Demetrius (Ari Kappatos) into eating with her, she’s set her sights on yet another target. Who? Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). In the promo, Esme asks her, “Are you in love with him?”
We see Elizabeth possibly being affected by the topic, but we think she’ll see through any manipulations to help her escape. After all, Elizabeth saw through her other attempts. Strangely enough, it’s mostly women who see through Esme. If this was a telenovela, we’d think she’s resorting to some brujeria to bend men to her will. In this case? We think they’re just stupid.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers For December 29: Damage control?
In other news, Laura Webber (Genie Francis) voices her suspicions. We assume this has to do with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and the fact he’s staying at Wyndemere. Laura can’t be happy about Nikolas’ proximity to a man she thinks killed her ex and is hatching some other massive plot.
It seems she’ll either be informing Nikolas of the latest on her visit with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and maybe even wanting Nikolas’ assistance. In the promo he warns her, “If you take down Victor, you take me down.”
We see why he isn’t too keen on helping with everything else he has going on. However, we think this is a terrible strategy to use with Laura. You know she’ll have a million questions about that statement, and she won’t let it go. Nikolas should just admit what’s going on and get it over with, because he’s just delaying the inevitable.

Finally, ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate Britt’s party kicks off. And this looks like an affair to remember. We got a real kick out of Britt seeing that waiter and saying, “Happy birthday to me.” At least she seems in great spirits there, because there’s a rumor about how this bash will end, and it doesn’t sound good for Britt.
