ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers tease that star Sydney Mikayla is opening up about working with one of the best actresses in the daytime television industry. Of course, we are talking about Maura West (Ava Jerome). Sydney, who is best known for her role as Trina on the hit ABC soap, says that it’s been one wild ride so far. But it’s been a positive one, for sure.
“It’s all still so new and exciting for me,” she told Soaps In Depth in a new interview. “I’m learning a lot from the other teen actors and from the veterans on the show, too. Some of my favorite scenes have been with Maura West (Ava). She is a soap opera icon! It’s an honor to share the screen with her.”

Sydney also says that she appreciates Ava being so helpful to her, both on and off camera and that she’s one of the first people who has helped her settle in onset. What’s more, she also says that she can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two and their on-screen characters. “She’s so nice and makes me feel very comfortable when we do our scenes together,” said the young actress. “So I’m looking forward to seeing how Trina and Ava’s friendship will blossom.”
Knowing how Ava operates, it will be interesting to see how she will continue to bring Trina into the fold. As friendly as she might seem to be right now, we sure know that this beautiful blonde is capable of anything! Of course, ‘General Hospital’ fans will have to tune in each day to find out what will happen next!
