A lot of fans agree: this is what was supposed to happen on Friday night at the Astroworld Festival in Houston, before eight people tragically died.  A video of an old Linkin Park concert is now going viral, as it shows members of the band trying to stop a mosh pit before things get worse and someone gets hurt. Here’s what you need to know.

A Twitter user by the name of @bombarlurina03 posted the video with the caption, “No, THIS is exactly what’s supposed to be happening in a mosh pit.”

The clip shows singer Mike Shonda saying “hold up, hold up” after spotting a fan in trouble in the mosh pit. “Yo! We got a little problem up here,” he said. Chester Bennington, who died in 2017, can be heard shouting, “Pick him up! Pick him up right now!”

Mike then said, “Sorry you guys, we gotta look out for safety first, for real. Nobody gets hurt, that’s number one. We’ll play this s**t, the whole s**t again, if you guys get up, if you guys are alright. OK? Watch yourselves.”

Chester then said again, “Hey, yo, man. We know we’ve been stressing all night about being cool and this is the reason why,” he said. “Let’s go over it one more time… when someone falls, what do you do?”

“Pick him up!” The crowd chanted back.

The video has gotten over 3 million views since it was posted over the weekend. This comes after 8 people had died and several hundred were injured at Travis Scott’s Astroworld concert on Friday. The crowd surge, during a performance by the rapper Travis Scott, “caused some panic, and it started causing some injuries,” the city’s fire chief, Samuel Peña, said Saturday morning.

The concert was part of the Astroworld music festival, a two-day event that began on Friday. About 50,000 people were there on Friday night, according to the Fire Department.
