British Royal Family News says that even though Prince Andrew has done some pretty scandalous things in the past, it looks like the public would rather hate on Meghan Markle than the Queen’s most favorite son. While the palace was certainly worried about Prince Andrew and his connection to disgraced financer Jeffrey Epstein, it’s the Duchess of Sussex who managed to become more hated than Prince Harry’s uncle. Here’s what you need to know.
According to Robert Lacey, the author of Battle of Brothers: William and Harry – The Inside Story of a Family in Tumult, he believes that Meghan Markle faired much worse behind closed doors with the royal family than Prince Andrew has, even though the allegations made against him have been far more serious. However, he says that palace officials complained that talking to Meghan and Harry was often like dealing with a hard-nosed Hollywood lawyer.

But he believes that the courtiers might have purposely put more attention on Meghan and everything that she was doing wrong, instead of right.
Lacey puts it this way, “One of the reasons things went wrong over Christmas and new year was that the palace was so preoccupied with the Andrew problem, they didn’t see the Harry problem coming.”
Meanwhile, there have been additional reports that have suggested Prince Andrew is being “airbrushed” from the royal family – and quite literally, too. Randy Andy will not be invited to any of the major celebrations thrown to celebrate his father’s milestone birthday next June.
While anything can certainly happen between now and June, the monarchy has already decided to airbrush any and all of the family photos that has Prince Andrew in it, despite the fact that he is one of four children that Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth share together.
“There is a warning from up high to play down Andrew. He will be included as little as possible,” an insider said, insisting it was “not whitewashing history” because he wasn’t being left out “entirely.”
