TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ spoilers reveal that Deavan Clegg’s IG live interview it was revealed that it was her friend Lydia who came forward in a different interview and shared the text messages that Deavan had sent her regarding exactly what Jihoon did to Drascilla, and it was not okay.
The way Jihoon had previously painted the situation, it sounded like he had just pulled the child’s hair to illustrate to her how much it hurt when she pulled someone else’s hair. Okay, that’s not really an ideal way of disciplining a child but if it’s just done for illustration purposes we can kind of hand-wave it, just once. But what Jihoon did, according to the shared text messages, sounded absolutely horrific, especially to a three year old!

The shared text message said that it was 3AM and little Drasilla got up for water and that’s when Jihoon snapped on her, pinned her to the ground and pulled out a 3 inch wide chunk of hair. That’s when Deavan did the thing that any Mom would have done and called the police.
It sounds like Jihoon tried to discipline this child when he was angry, and my own Mother always used to say that you never discipline a child while angry. It sounds like he was tired and fed up and just took all of his frustrations out of on Drasilla, but a 3 year old is not going to understand when her step-Dad is tired and wants to take a nap after working all day. A toddler really has no concept of adult fatigue, I didn’t grasp the concept until I was in my 30’s, trust me.
Then he proceeded to do something twice as troubling and pushed Deavan herself to the ground and then locked himself in a room with baby Taeyang and threatened to kill himself and Taeyang. Honestly, if all of these allegations are true, then I’m thinking that little Taeyang may just fare better not really having that much contact with Jihoon, it’s pretty clear that the guy is not mature enough to be a parent.
Deavan said that all of this will be revealed in the self-quarantine videos that she released to TLC and will probably be on the upcoming episodes of 90 day fiancé the other way. We’re glad that little Drasilla is getting the proper help, and we’re glad that Deavan is out of the situation.
It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out. Will this be a win for Deavan or will TLC butcher her segments again with bad editing? Stay tuned!!!
