TLC ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ spoilers indicate that Deavan says that it breaks her heart to know that people think that about Drascilla because in actuality she is the nicest, sweetest little girl and that the show really painted her in a bad light and that when it comes down to reality TV, that that’s one of the things that you sometimes have to play along with, even if that narrative is not what is actually going on.
She couldn’t say whether or not 90 day fiancé did it this way, but she did generally comment that a lot of the time reality TV shows have a storyboard that they make up and they will tell the castmembers in advance that they want their stories to go this way and that even though that’s not what’s going on behind the scenes, they are contractually obligated to fit the narrative.

Deavan called them “slave contracts” because if you break this particular NDA then you can be fined up to $50,000 and if she had broken her particular NDA she would have owed hundred of thousands of dollars to TLC and she just doesn’t have it.

Deavan was careful to say that her show, meaning, 90 day fiancé the other way did not work that way but she seemed to know an awfully lot about it so perhaps she’s just friends with people who regularly work in the reality arena, or maybe Topher, her new boyfriend has worked with people who’ve been on reality TV before.
However, I think we all know the reason Deavan sidestepped talking about her particular show in a negative way because as we’ve said before, those NDA’s can get quite expensive, and let’s face it, Deavan is still a pretty small youtube influencer so there’s no way she makes enough to violate anything she’s signed – yet. However this does beg the question, if that is the way reality TV is, then how much of this stuff is actually reality? Eh? Will we ever know? Stay tuned!!!
