Netflix’s ‘Blood of Zeus’ is a new animated series/film coming later this month that follows Heron, a commoner who finds out he is the son of the Greek god Zeus. He soon learns he is the best hope for defeating an evil demon army that looks to end the world.

The animation looks amazing and the voice acting sounds great. Of course, there are a ton of jokes and comments coming from viewers about Zeus, but we’ll get to that here in a minute, for now, take a look at the trailer below that was uploaded with the following description,

“In a brewing war between the gods of Olympus and the titans, Heron, a commoner living on the outskirts of ancient Greece, becomes mankind’s best hope of surviving an evil demon army, when he discovers the secrets of his past.”

Anyone who knows anything about Greek mythology probably knows the Zeus has fathered many children. Therein lies the common joke in the comments, “Mom: You’re the son of Zeus Son: So what, about 20% of the people of Greece are”, “Ah begins like any good Greek tale: So Zeus is a dad and…”, “Zeus continuing his trend of spreading his seed whenever and wherever”, and “”You’re the son of Zeus”. Oh, boy. Another one. Join the club.”

I look forward to checking out this project, myself being a fan of Greek mythology, and luckily we get to see it this month!

Netflix’s ‘Blood of Zeus’ releases on October 27.
