CBS Renews The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful!
CBS has been daytime’s number 1 network for 32 years years running and so daytime fans will nbe happy to know that its entire current lineup will be returning for the year 2019-2020. In the soap opera world, this includes both the Young and the Restless and the Bold and the Beautiful. Other shows in its lineup that are also renewed include: Let’s Make a Deal, The Price is Right and The Talk.

To announce the news, Angelica McDaniel, Executive VP for CBS Daytime Programs said: “For almost a third of a century, CBS has demonstrated a remarkable legacy of success in Daytime,” to which she added “Our programming continues to maintain a level of achievement unheard of in today’s television landscape, thanks to the passion and dedication of the extraordinary producers, casts, staff and crew on the shows, our studio partners, and most importantly, the fans. They have our deepest gratitude, and we look forward to entertaining them for many years to come.”
Fans of Y&R will rejoice at news of the 47 year old show returning to CBS once again, but that much was a no-brainer considering that the hit CBS soap boasts the best ratings in the business. Many fans on social media, and elsewhere, have shown concerns that the Bold and the Beautiful would see its lifespan cut short, but those rumor will now be put to rest for the immediate future.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Kyle Wants Divore From Summer To Further Relationship With Lola
