‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers indicate has been heating up with some intense drama lately. Social media has been aflutter with rumors that have been speculating Rey’s status on the show. Jordi Vialsuso has some comforting news for fans of the show.
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Is Jordi Vilasuso (Rey Rosales) Departing From Genoa City?
Fans of the Young and the Restless have fallen in love with Vilasuso’s character, Rey. He has been playing Rey since August of 2018. Rey came to Genoa City from Miami and he is currently a detective at the GCPD. We first saw him on the show when he was brought into help with the disappearance of JT. Soon, we found out that Rey is Arturo’s brother. He ends up marrying Mia, but did have a small fling with Sharon during his investigation.
Social media was busy this past week with fans who were praising Vilasuso and his role as Rey. Some fans tweeted that they can’t even imagine the show without Rey. Jordi told these fans that he is not going anywhere! This made fans and us incredibly happy to read!
There are actually many new storylines and existing ones that feature Rey so clearly he isn’t going anywhere. The first one is really juicy and could lead to quite a bit of drama. Rey is still trying to find out if he is the father or Mia’s child or if it is his brother. Paul is asking a lot of Rey too. He has been given the job of finding out more about Lola’s attack. And will Rey end up getting closer to Sharon in all of this?
We are so happy to report that Rey will be on the show for much longer! We are unsure of where this rumor started, but we are so happy it’s not true! Stay tuned this week to see just what happens with the case that Rey is on!
