CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) accused Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) of having an affair! Any sane person that’s been watching the show would have seen this coming from a mile away. It was only a matter of time, and a text message apparently.
While Chelsea was describing to Adam what she had planned he received a message from Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) reading, “I know you think we crossed a line, but I needed that as much as you did.” This obviously sounds like something else and Chelsea puts two and two together.

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Chelsea Accuses Adam Of Having An Affair! Does She Really Believe Him?
Just a day after wanting to go down to the courthouse and get married, Chelsea sees that message and thinks it means something terrible. Wouldn’t anyone? However, Adam seemingly talks her down and explains that they were just talking and that Sharon had her own things going on. He tells her that her cancer spread, and that seems to soften the situation.
Does Chelsea really believe Adam though? I mean, we saw it, and while they didn’t do anything physical, it was definitely nerve-racking. I think at the moment Chelsea was thinking about Sharon and her pain, but this will come back out at some point and Sharon will get dragged into it.
