Netflix ‘Fast and Furious 9’ is on everybody’s mind. It had to push back it’s release date due to COVID-19, but that hasn’t stopped people from talking about. Most notably Ludacris (Christopher Brian Bridges) who stars in the series. In an interview on SiriusXM, people thought Ludacris let out a secret, that the team will be going to space in the ninth installment.
Michelle Rodriquez was on just a couple of days ago and they asked her if they would be going to space in this film, trying to back up Ludacris’s supposed spoiler. Unfortunately, it was pretty obvious when they asked Rodriquez if this was true that she was joking with her response. The actress said,
“Oh, no way. How did you guys find that out? See what happens? People start talking behind the scenes, man. When a movie doesn’t come out and forget about it, things get out. Nobody was supposed to know that…Oh, well, no, I’m not, I’m not, I’m not lucky enough to hit space, but we did get a female writer and showed a lot of love, I think, on this one. Thanks to…Justin Lin. We were able to, to find a little bit more attention and love for the girls in the movie. And so I’m really hopeful that that, that shows through in the final product.”
Is ‘Fast and Furious 9’ Really Going To Space? – Was Michelle Rodriquez Teasing?
It seems pretty obvious in the video that she’s being sarcastic and joking, but so many outlets have said that this has been confirmed. I don’t think it looks that way. In fact, what she does mention is that due to a new female writer, it looks like the ladies of the film will get a little more action. Other than that, it looks like she was joking.
