Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that fans will soon be in for a very wild ride for the next two weeks. Viewers will need to buckle in their seat belts because it looks as though the cartel will be back to cause even more chaos in Salem. And this time around, things might turn deadly. Here’s what you need to know.

It all begins with a break in at the DiMera mansion. Even though the cartel has been wanting to get their revenge on Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), it’s Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konfel) that they end up taking hostage. Yes, you read that correctly: this is the second time in the last several months that Ciara has been held against her will. It’s no wonder that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) is so stressed out and terrified for her safety these days.

According to Soaps in Depth, luckily, Gabi will be able to reach Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gearing) for help. He will end up rescuing Gabi, but only after he gets shot by the cartel! This will leave Ben and Rafe’s wife Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) no choice but to rescue Ciara, who is still being held captive. Knowing what kind of history these two have, it will be interesting how they will end up working together. However, Ben and Hope need to put their differences aside as they don’t have much time on their hands. That’s because things are going to turn ugly pretty quickly when the cartel realizes that they have the wrong woman in their hands. If that weren’t enough, there’s also a strong suspicion that Hope’s part time lover, Ted Laurent (Giles Marini) might be in bed with the cartel.
