CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that the rumor of Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) actually being Hilary Curtis may be popping up again, at least I’m making it pop up again. Man, do I hate this rumor too. I think it’s old and annoying when characters die, and they magically find a way for them to live through it only to become someone else.
However, I think there may be more buzz about this rumor soon because of Amanda Sinclair‘s bizarre behavior and the, let’s face it, dumb things she said to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) today. Since Amanda has come to Genoa City, Devon made her life a living hell for a while. Then, he was just kind of awkward around her, now, he’s straight-up strange.
CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Could The Rumor Be True? – Is Amanda Sinclair Secretly Hilary Curtis?
One of the smaller things that I picked up on today was when Devon was talking to Amanda about her and Nate Hasting (Sean Dominic) and how that was going. Amanda was unsure about the situation. She didn’t know how to feel about them, and wasn’t even sure that they were in a “relationship”. Devon made the claim that Nate was Genoa City’s most eligible bachelor. Amanda replied with, wouldn’t that be you?
What? Everyone knows that Devon is with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy). It’s an odd thing to say, and it felt like there was some energy between the two. There’s been this weird feeling between them for a while, and it’s almost like Amanda is either starting to develop something for him, or she’s Hilary trying to get him back.
Of course, there’d be a lot to work through for her to be Hilary, like getting a law degree. However, it could account for why she pushed Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) away and she’s been “dating” Nate to keep appearances up with her ultimate goal to get Devon back. The whole thing seems ridiculous, and you’d have to jump a lot of hoops to make it happen, but this is a soap opera, after all, crazier things have happened.
