Recently, some new developments happened that both amused us as well as make us wonder how ugly this whole thing will get. Here’s what you need to know.

First, we are not surprised. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Gwen Davies (Emily O’Brien) learned the news as well. And we could practically see the dollar signs in her eyes the second she heard. It didn’t take her long at all to start working on him, practically begging him to get his birthright. We think a more accurate interpretation would be her comfort and security.
Let’s face it, there had to be a reason she ran off and pretended to be insane/lock herself in Bayview just to get away from him. And yes, they did obviously still have an attraction going on. But there was also plenty of hate, and she was upset that he took Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) to the wedding from hell. We just see this thing going bad again fast—if he wasn’t rich now.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Finally!
After a while of hating Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and thinking he’s completely off, he had some entertaining moments today. When Gwen finally talked Jake into arriving at the DiMera estate, his reaction to everything was priceless. You could see him trying not to laugh as Gabi ranted and raved against them moving in.
We also have to give him some credit. While we think a lot of this is motivated by his Gabi hate, we do think there’s a genuineness behind wanting to spend time with his newly-discovered brother.
We think that genuineness is good, because it shows Chad is reasonable enough to not hold Stefan DiMera’s (Barash) actions against Jake. However, we aren’t totally fooled here. We think he’ll turn on Jake like a rabid dog in a heartbeat if given reason. And Gwen might do just that.

See, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Gwen and Chad had a bit of a tense discussion after moving in. He made it very clear he’s all for them—for now. But he warned her that he is not an enemy she wants. Gwen assured him that was “duly noted,” but is it really? This girl is extreme, and we honestly don’t think her ambitions will be sated with what Chad’s willing to share. Eventually, we think she’ll want more and this is where problems will arise.
He’s perceptive and recognized her ambition, but we think he’s underestimating her. And her hate for Gabi. It’s very likely Chad will be the one losing everything, and he’ll have himself to blame. Assuming Jake doesn’t discover what’s going on and put a stop to it. But we think Gwen’s too crafty for that.
