CBS ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers reveal the way the whole discovery of Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) by Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) went and how they transitioned to Sally’s call-out. I get that everyone is coming back from Quarantine and probably editing is suffering just a little bit because production just wants to get the scenes done and I fully understand that but the way this scene was shot totally lost me!

As a viewer, one who’s attention span is regularly divided by things that I have to do around the house (which I suspect is kind of normal for a soap’s daytime audience and has been normal since the beginning of daytime dramas), the way they transitioned so quickly from just having Flo and Wyatt in the same room to suddenly having Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) in there with them just seemed kind of unnatural, like it happened too fast and that it somehow wasn’t logical.

I mean, did she pull a Harry Potter trick and apparate, or use Floo Powder? (Hey, apparently that was a thing with the redheaded Weasley family in Harry Potter and Sally’s a redhead so maybe she got her Hogwarts letter and no one knew? I mean… okay, I’m kidding.)

That being said, I have nothing to really offer besides having the scene written a little bit differently to reflect who is entering or exiting to make it any better, but then I am a writer and not a director. However, I’ve been a soap fan for ages and I know that something could have been better about this transition to make it make a little more sense than it did and not seem like everyone was just shoved in a room randomly for the sole purposes of calling Sally out.

Also another thing, I understand why Penny Escobar (Monica Ruiz) had to be there but at the same time I’m kind of iffy on her presence there at all. I think it would have been more convincing to shoot her own call-out seperately but I guess they may not want to make such a big deal out of Dr. Escobar’s character, after all, she seems a little bit corrupt and doesn’t exactly reflect well on the medical community as a whole.

But you know, that never stopped a soap from creating an evil doctor before. Stay tuned!!! For any other soap opera and entertainment news, please visit Daily Soap Dish. For more royal and celeb baby news, come back to Celeb Baby Laundry.
