CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that we’ve finally gotten the news that everyone has been long waiting for! The cast and crew of the hit CBS soap is back at work! In fact, actor Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) was one of the first cast members to confirm that yes, filming will begin by next week. Here’s what you need to know.
Eric, who often expresses his political viewers and opinions on Twitter, shared a photo of him and The Young and the Restless executive producer Tony Morina in front of the CBS studios. Wearing all black and with a bandana around his face, the actor said that he was at the studio for Covid-19 testing. If everything goes as planned, the cast and crew of ‘Young and the Restless’ are expected to begin filming again as early as next week.

Of course, this is very exciting news for Y&R fans who have been without new episodes of their favorite soap since the end of April. As many fans can recall, ‘Young and the Restless’, along with the other four major daytime television soaps and the rest of the film and entertainment industry, suspended filming back in mid-March because of the coronavirus.
Many fans commented on Eric’s photo with, “Eric I hope all is well with everyone at Y&R and B&B so everyone can stay as safe as possible during filming,” along with, “Can’t wait to see all your familiar faces, you guys are just like a big part of my week. The cast & staff should isolate at home when not in the studio, to keep the studio a COVID free zone.” Another fan wrote, “Amidst this crisis, it must be nerve racking to all of you to head back to the studio filming new episodes. Be careful, stay safe and keep distance.”
