CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 29 find that we have learned from the final episode of Villains Week that there’s never a downside to having a doubles storyline. It’s a time-tested idea that proved itself long before this episode aired on April 27, 2010. The trick is how to explain it.

For many, it comes down to plastic surgery, a mask, clone, or some other science fiction type of plotting to explain it away, but we buy into it because we want to. It’s hard to resist and it’s fun cheering on the bad guys to be found out and brought to justice for everyone can sleep better at night.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Throwback For May 29: Follow the clues

Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) is searching for Jana Hawkes (Emily O’Brien), and his efforts lead him to the jail where Ryder Callahan (Wilson Bethel) is held to try and convince him to talk. Ryder had resisted Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc)’s best efforts to open up, so Michael calls his brother to help. Kevin’s arrival surprises Ryder as he’s the only person to ever show Ryder compassion, but he manages to keep silent through most of their discussion.

In fact, Ryder actually encourages Kevin that things will work out after Kevin lamented how he didn’t have anybody in his life. This shows how much Ryder cares about him, but he doesn’t go far enough to give names or places. Kevin even tells Ryder that he’ll protect him from whomever he’s scared of, but Ryder remained silent. When Kevin leaves and comes back, Ryder is gone as someone has bailed him out.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Throwback For May 29: Double it

Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman)’s double has run everyone rampant, but especially Michael. He’s noted several times how Lauren’s been acting strange, but he wasn’t able to put two and two together and Jana are now being held at the abandoned zoo. CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers have faith Michael will rescue them, especially since this episode has ben dubbed as he and Lauren come face to face with her double.

We can expect a confrontation and some fighting before Lauren is really rescued. How will that happen? Well, we’d like to say, but CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers wouldn’t be doing our job if we gave away all of the secrets. We gotta have some excuse to look these episodes up and watch them, don’t we? With this week brought to a close, what was your favorite villain? Let us know in the comments, and check back with CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
