Love Island news finds that fans will be delighted to see that one of the reality stars that was in last year’s edition of the show has been working hard raising funds for a worthy cause. It was reported in The Argus, that Amy Hart has raised nearly £2000 in her effort in the Pier-To-Pier challenge. It would certainly appear to be a cause close to her heart, as all the money raised when towards the Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice.
Hart paid a visit to the hospice shortly after leaving the Love Island villa last year, and has been working on helping raise money for their efforts. It was revealed that Hart was keen to get involved with the hospice after being moved by a speech made by a mother at a fundraiser last year.

In the speech, Hart learnt all about the work that the children’s hospice did, as the mother explained in her speech how they have managed to help her son and the support that she gets. Hart immediately set about to help raise funds for the hospice, and participated in the pier-to-pier challenge despite not being an avid runner.
The challenge saw Hart travel 23-miles. She started at Worthing Pier and travelled to Brighton Pier and back again. She was joined in the fundraising effort by her mother. The two of them revealed that they were delighted to help in the fundraising efforts, and were pleased that the pain and aches would be worth it because of all the donations that they received.

It has been a spectacular year for Hart since leaving the Love Island villa, as her popularity with the public has continued to grow. She was supported by the public after being brutally dumped on the show by Curtis Pritchard, but she has since forgiven her ex for his decision by following him on Twitter.
Most recently, she has appeared on Celebs Go Dating, and has also spoke out about her insecurities on social media. She admitted in the post on Instagram that her followers should stop worrying about their insecurities and just enjoy life despite the lockdown currently in place in the United Kingdom.
