ABC ‘The Bachelor’ spoilers finds that Amanda Stanton certainly isn’t winning any new fans these days. The controversial reality television star is making headlines ones again for defying California’s strict stay-at-home orders as she apparently drove all the way to Arizona for a haircut. Here’s what she has to say.
According to Us Weekly, Amanda thought it would be a good idea to drive to another state to get her hair done but it didn’t come without criticism. The blonde beauty documented her ordeal in a recent Instagram story that she posted on her account.

“Drove very very far to get my hair done & may have peed on the side of a dirt road because I’m scared to use public restrooms,” she wrote in her now-expired Story. “But it was worth it,” adding that she felt “like a new person.” “Some might think this is going to great lengths to get my hair done but honestly, I have nothing else to do and isolating for a couple of weeks when I get home was something I was willing to do. To each their own,” she wrote. “I’m confident that I’ve been making responsible choices during this time and am proud of myself!”
Amanda also justified her actions by saying that while she hasn’t made many trips to the grocery store and has stayed indoors for the most of the lockdown, she was willing to take the risk to drive to Arizona in order to see her favorite hair stylist.
Of course, it didn’t take very long for Amanda’s critics to respond to her post. Quite a few of them left comments such as, “Wow does she feel entitled or what. Driving to ANOTHER STATE to get her hair done! What a selfish act whether you quarantine before or after. Your hair maintenance is essential NOT!” along with, “Exactly, and her defense is ridiculous – I follow the rules except when I don’t.” Another fan wrote, “This is ridiculous, she’s willing to risk her health and the health and safety of others for a haircut. Just wait like the rest of us and you will get it done. This move just makes her look pathetic and immature.”
