CBS’ The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that today, we are taken back to 2012, where things are kind of mirroring present-day in Genoa City. Well, at least Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) have made their way back to each other. Over the past several episodes, we have seen Phyllis pining over different men and scheming to hurt different women, whereas Nick has been with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) in a mediocre marriage. Today, he has found his way to Phyllis.
In 2012, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Phyllis had remarried after a few years of separation. The two are blissful and just moving back in together, despite the fact that she just experienced a difficult miscarriage. Phyllis is currently extremely upset with her daughter-in-law, Daisy (Yvonne Zima). Daisy heard Phyllis calling for help in the midst of her miscarriage, but Daisy decided to ignore the plea. Phyllis suddenly wants Daisy to be arrested, and realistically, it sounds like a whole lot of drama that has little significance to today’s plotlines.

On the other side of Genoa City, Heather (Jennifer Landon) and Ricky (Peter Porte) are experiencing extreme sibling rivalry. Ricky wants revenge after Heather tells him to pack his bags. Unfortunately, Ricky is not a fair fighter. Paul Williams (Doug Davidson), Heather’s dad, will come to the rescue of his daughter, though. Ricky is also currently writing a book about Phyllis, and it looks like her secrets may come out before she’s ready for them too. It was an interesting day in Genoa City back in 2012, but definitely, the most notable drama was between Paul Williams (Melody Thomas Scott) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).
