ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) had a nasty confrontation on Thursday to close the week’s episodes out. While Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) thinks he handled it right, we think she’s all wrong. So is Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). It’s a story told on many soaps, and we’re seeing it play out again. Here’s what you need to know.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Understandable
It’s totally understandable Michael isn’t feeling very generous these days. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal Nelle only tried to kill him, then kept his son from him for over a year. Nothing major. At least, that’s the way she sees it. So it’s no wonder Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) blew up at her big-time and refused to accept any deal. However, we think he made a massive mistake in how he handled it.
See, they keep going on about what a schemer Nelle is. How on earth they don’t guard their words around her, we don’t know. The whole fight, in which Michael swears Nelle will never get her hands on that child, could’ve been recorded. That would not have looked good. And given her lawyer, it’s bad enough he said it to start with. That will be a factor going into the hearing. So Willow was beyond wrong to praise Michael for what he said. She should be helping him to keep a level head.
Still, we also see why she wouldn’t. Nelle had the nerve to approach Willow recently. That was bad enough, but when she started trying to act sorry for her, Willow was more than justified in being upset. And calling her out for using Willow’s dead child as a prop for Nelle’s revenge on Michael. But are they overlooking something?
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Changes?
This will probably sound insane, but we think Nelle was being genuine today. Her offer to drop the suit seemed legit to us, and we can see why. Nelle’s not a stupid woman, so she has to know that she isn’t exactly a shining example of parental stability. We do think she was trying to resolve this in the most peaceful way possible. If it was? Michael’s reaction just blew it. And we’re sure that at least part of the almost overboard hate is due to Carly. She doesn’t seem to let go of the past easy, and no one seems to be taking their part in this war seriously. While we haven’t seen most of Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier)’s run, recent episodes led us to believe there is far more to this than meets the eye. The thing is, no one will be able to get beyond the past to do see it. It happens all the time. Some are forgiven, others are forever marked. ‘General Hospital’ spoilers indicate that character here is Nelle. Blind hate usually leads to making big mistakes and creating a worse monster.
ABC ‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Any way out?
Honestly, we see this custody battle turning out bad for Michael. The family went too far in forging that paper and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) should never have locked Nelle on the roof. Michael’s fit and Carly and Michael going along with the “Marry Willow” idea is just icing on the failure cake. And you know he will marry her. As we see it, neither biological parent will look good. Given Nelle’s past, Michael’s family, and the things we mentioned above, there’s a chance they both lose. It seriously might be time to cooperate and drop this before it goes before the judge.
