We’ll be hoest here. We sort of understand what Mukaddes did. She’d sent a bunch of letters Cennet Yilmaz (Almila Ada) wrote to her mother as a child to Arzu. Cennet spoilers reveal Mukaddes found out her heart’s bad and she likely doesn’t have a lot of time left. So we can understand her wanting to do something that would maybe get through to Arzu. She intended for Arzu to see the kind of person Cennet really is so she’ll back off her a bit. Plus, she is hopeful that Arzu will maybe look out for her daughter later. Even if it’s only from a distance. The problem here is, the decision did more harm than anything.
Telemundo Cennet Spoilers: Denial
Once again, Arzu has proven how instable and cruel she can be. The letters prompted her to confront Mukaddes about the letters. This led to a huge fight between them, and Arzu still can’t accept the fact that Cennet is her daughter, nor can she accept Mukaddes pushing the situation. In a very cruel move, Arzu told Mukaddes she isn’t Cennet’s grandmother. The idea that someone else is Cennet’s father crushed Mukaddes, and it sent her into a heart attack. Instead of calling an ambulance, she wasted time, then rushed to hide upstairs when Cennet arrived.
Cennet didn’t do much better. She didn’t bother running to the phone right away, either. Sure, this was part Mukaddes’ fault. She told Cennet her mother was there. This distracted her, then when she heard a door close, she raced outside to find her. When she couldn’t see her mother, Cennet realized she needed to get back inside and call for help. And we can’t. But Arzu might have been even dumber here.

There’s one issue with her taking off like that. Arzu left behind evidence of her visit—a broach she got after winning an award. Mukaddes managed to rip it off Arzu’s jacket while she was having her crisis, then told Cennet whose it is. Cennet now has it, and we’re positive that Arzu will see it and give away who it belongs to. It’s really only a matter of time, and what happens depends on what happens to Mukkades.
If she dies, Cennet spoilers reveal that Cennet will be devastated. And she’ll likely hate the mother who took off when her abuela was suffering. When the truth comes out, Cennet will probably go a bit dark to make Arzu pay for what she’s done.
If she lives, there’s a chance that Mukaddes will tell the truth. She knows she’s in bad shape, so we’d expect her to do everything she can to smooth things over between them so Cennet isn’t alone in the world. It’ll take some effort, but we think there’s a chance.
