‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers indicate that Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) will have quite a confession to make to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) in the coming weeks. As a matter of fact, he can’t shake off the guilt he has for kissing Victoria, despite the fact that his wife Lily is still behind bars. Here’s what you need to know.
‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Cane Confesses To Devon, Can’t Shake Off Guilt
‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers relate that Cane never expected to get up close and personal with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), yet that’s exactly what happened. To make matters worse, they were caught making out on the couch by Billy, who just happened to walk in on them. And now Cane not only has Billy to deal with, but he can’t help but feel incredibly guilty for what he’s done, especially considering that his wife Lily is currently in jail. He turns to his brother-in-law Devon for help, but unfortunately he won’t be getting the help that he is expecting. Instead, Devon gives him a good dose of tough love.

According to Soap Opera Digest, Daniel Goddard, who plays Cane on the hit CBS soap, says that his character turned to Victoria to air out some of his frustrations. Little did he know that things would end up getting pretty heated and passionate between them!
Daniel told the publication, “The first one was much more heated. The second kiss has an emotional rawness and hurt in these people, who in that moment, find this commonality. Victoria is lost and alone, and Cane is lost and alone, so they have this synchronicity. Their kiss may be less primal, but it’s more intense in the fact that it’s happened before and now it’s happening again.”
And while Cane has cheated on Lily before, he realizes that he needs to talk this out before Lily finds out from someone else.

Goddard said, “Devon basically says, ‘don’t let Lily know about this. She’s trying to survive in prison, so how dare you even think she needs to hear this. You need to suck it up and live with it.’”
