ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) star Parry Shen (Brad Cooper) is weighing in on Julian Jerome’s (William DeVry) and Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebauld) illicit hook-up along with what it’s been like to have the character’s portrayer back on set. To put it simply, Parry was just as surprised as fans were to see Britt again! Here’s what he has to say.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the actor offers this, “After our scenes, I hugged Kelly and asked if she was done of the day, and she replied that she still had some stuff with Julian. I was like ‘Julian? Why?’ And when she told me they were supposed to hook up, I wanted Brad to have one last scene with Julian where he confronts him and goes, ‘Julian! Seriously.” What the heck, man?!’ I think the fans would want to see that.”

In fact, it’s without a doubt that fans would love to see it, as it would definitely create even more friction between the characters. However, Parry added that it has been great having Britt back on the set of the hit ABC soap.
The actor added, “When I saw Britt’s name come up in the advanced tentative schedule, I actually got emotional and teary eyes, thinking, ‘Aw, Britt’s coming to see me off to prison!’ That’s what actually locked me into the zone for all the prison scenes to come. I guess it’s because I am such a sentimental person, and my first scenes ever in 2013 were with Kelly, so to go out with a scene with her, was just so perfectly full-circle.”
