ABC ‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers finds that while there’s no doubt that his character Brad Cooper certainly deals with his fair share of drama on the small screen, ‘General Hospital’ star Parry Shen’s real life is nothing like that. And that’s a good thing, right? In fact, Parry’s family life is so low key that oftentimes he just loves to hang out at home with his wife and two daughters and of course, their family’s rescue dog. Here’s what he has to say.
Speaking to Soaps in Depth in a new interview, Parry says that he and his wife Kim still feel so fortunate that Santa “delivered” a puppy named Roxi to them back on Christmas Day in 2017. He recalled that magical moment by telling the publication, “We put Roxi in a wrapped box for 30 seconds and had the girls open it up. And they were extremely surprised because we’d pretty much told them we were never getting a dog!” Just as Kori expected, Roxi has been a great addition to the family. “It was just us four for the longest time, so she’s definitely added a new dynamic.”

Since then Parry says that Roxi has been a perfect fit for the family. He continued, “When we come home, she’s always excited to see us and jumping on us. And first thing in the morning, they all snuggle up with her in bed. It’s like that every day. We have enough room around the house and in the backyard that she gets plenty of exercises. She’s also very well-trained. She’s got a cool, easygoing demeanor. I don’t think that’s much due to training on our part. She’s a rescue, and we kind of lucked out with a chill dog. She’s the best!”
